All Students, faculty and Staff It is sixty first day of Corona Virus infected first patient on 26 February 2020 same patient has recovered and has donated plasma for cure of other patients it is great service and news for us Pakistanis but situation is still alarming till date when 13328 cases have been diagnosed of Corona Virus and 279 lives have scummed to this infection and whole country is in lockdown . As Isra students ,alumni, faculty and staff in our Hyderabad, Karachi and Islamabad Campuses over 5000 plus need to adopt prevention against this Corona Pandemic happening in 112 countries at same time never such Pandemic has been witness by our young and old generation half of world in isolation quarantine and fear. Public Health expert and WHO predicts 200,000 cases in Pakistan till July and slowing of the curve is not visible so for As Dean and chairperson of Community Medicine I remind you as Focal Person of Isra Corona Information and Research Desk following preventive Measures be followed Social Distancing of 2 Meters Hand Hygiene /Washing with water 20 seconds Wearing of Mask and Gloves when out side or on duties ALL doctors working in ER OPD and wards must use PPE and Shield and N95 Mask) Screening and Triage be done in all OPDs and ER settings If respiratory symptoms stay home and consult your doctor or recognize Health facility I urge all students to follow above prevention and help poor people to create awareness and if possible provide food and financial help to poor and needy living in their own neighborhood and send us report of their community service which is part of our Isra University Mission Students of all faculties of Isra including Medical allied Nursing, DPT, and MBBD, BDS be ready for online classes as per HEC and PMDC guidelines for which Dr Salman Kazi Vice Dean can be contacted.
